Yoga with Angela & Victor

A session with Angela and Victor is not so much yoga as a journey of discovery.
Don’t expect to hear commands or instructions, to be corrected or adjusted, to hear Sanskrit names or even to do familiar yoga postures. There’ll be no warriors here! Rather expect invitations to explore your own potential, to deeply explore your body from the inside out.
The true essence of their teaching is that it arises in the present moment, from their work individually and together. They truly embody the primary yogic principal of living in the now moment. It is first hand, not passed down the hereditary line.
Their style might be called True Yoga or Natural Yoga. It may even be the Original Yoga. Through connecting to the energy body, that life force essence that animates the physical for the journey from birth to the greatest adventure, you create space and movement, getting in touch with the Sacred through self discovery.

Yoga with Melissa

Prana

The natural world, in all of its divine forms, lives within each of us. This natural divinity is at the root of the body's expression of yoga.  In this class,
we’ll explore nature’s five elements and the patterns that manifest through the directions of prana, the animating energy of life.  Discover how the three
primal expressions of pranic movement—pulsation, wave motion, and the spiral—can help us travel deeper into the experience of our yoga asana practice and into the limitless potential of our hearts.

Nia with Rena

Nia is a fusion sensory-based fitness practice, blending the dance arts with healing and martial arts. Nia music is universal, carefully selected to inspire the choreography, and guide our spirit and emotions, encouraging creativity, peace and self-expression. With routines named Dream Walker, Alive, Opal, Earthsong, Clarity, Amethyst, Passion and many more, you can imagine the magic is just there, waiting to happen!

Νia suits literally everybody. People of all ages, all fitness levels, shapes and sizes benefit and transform their lives through Nia. Classes are taken barefoot, allowing dancers to sense connection with the earth and be mindful of their foot placement.

Tai Ji (also known as Tai Ch'i) with Isabelle
The word 'Tai' can mean 'a fully energized human, aware of the life force within' and 'Ji' can mean 'that Tai person exploring the continually changing  world around'. Tai Ji uses a series of body postures, some very similar to those used in Qi Gong, and connects these postures together into a flowing dance of body movements, known as a Tai Ji form The movements are gentle and link together using the energy of the body to guide this flow.

During the practice the emphasis again is on the breath. The effect is to enhance the movement, balance and posture of one’s body and stimulate

the flow of life force within. By continuing the practice, including varying the pace of the form, one can connect with one's deeper, inner self.

The practice helps us to enhance the power in our lives by using our bodies effectively as channels for this energy.

Sometimes known as moving meditation, the practitioner is able to enter into a state of inner calmness
and stillness. Tai Ji is described as the
'no mind, no control, no purpose' dance of Life. Many different variations of Tai Ji forms are practiced, and the one demonstrated
here is that taught

by Chungliang Huang who lives and teaches in the USA.

Qi Gong with Michael
Qi Gong is the regular practice of physical body movements to establish and maintain a healthy body. Translated as 'energy work', Qi Gong focuses

on the balanced flow of the body's life force through the energy channels known as Meridians. The movements consist of bending, stretching, expanding, contracting, rotating, turning, flexing and loosening the major joints, and consequently, muscles of the body. During the practice of these movements

the practitioner is taught to keep the focus on the breath, which is the most important factor in relation to a good energy in the body. To further stimulate a good flow of energy in the body the meridians are stimulated by gently tapping, slapping, massaging and pressing the meridians and their acupoints, while the practitioner reflects on the appropriate organ of the body.

The overall objective is to achieve good health and well being, mental acuity and ease by stimulating
and maintaining a balanced energy flow though

the major energy pathways of the body. Many different variations of Qi Gong are taught and practiced throughout the world - this variation of Qi Gong practice has evolved through the needs of its practitioner.
